With Leeds United looking into an array of targets this summer, it will be interesting to see how the fans feel about future transfers.
No doubt Leeds fans will be critical of the 49ers every step of the way through the summer, as they know it is a vitally important few months in the club’s history.
Every move needs to be made effectively and sustainably, and although there is a £100m+ transfer kitty, the owners will have to tread lightly.
It seems like they have already made a few wrong moves as fans are fuming at Leeds targeting Callum Wilson, who is known to have a poor injury record.
Now, another target has grabbed fans’ attention, and definitely not in a good way.
Leeds fans have second thoughts about target Kostas Tsimikas
With the Whites no doubt needing a left-back if Junior Firpo exits Elland Road in the summer, Konstantinos Tsimikas has appeared on Leeds’ radar.
Despite Firpo not being of interest to Real Betis now, it’s become clear that Lazio have entered the race for the 28-year-old, which sets Daniel Farke the challenge to get a key position in his system sorted quickly.
Liverpool are listening to offers for Tsimikas, who is valued at around £15m/20m, but Whites fans want to avoid at all costs.
Swarming over to X, the Leeds faithful have sent a clear message to the 49ers when it comes to signing the Greek full-back.
@lufc1986 said: “Just because he’s at Liverpool doesn’t mean he’s any good, 29, hardly plays. It’s hardly anything to get excited about.”
@sedgewhites claimed: “They just see a prem name and think we should get them, half of these links have been horrific.”
@jbsoutar put the idea forward of another target: “Ben Davies on a free, better than him.”
“Some Leeds fans were trying to tell me £20m for Tsimikas would be a good deal,” @Leedsnoinfidel said.
@mkdlufc put his foot down, saying: “12 million max.”
@leedsboygrant23 was in disbelief, saying: “After that performance, 10-12m I take that back £20m might be mad.”

Tsimikas proved he might not be up to Leeds’ standard
Paraag Marathe has made it clear there won’t be any messing about this transfer window.
This ultimately might suggest that if standards are dropped, Leeds will be ruthless in making key decisions.
And judging by Brighton’s 3-2 win vs Liverpool on Monday night, Tsimikas for £15m would be a waste, and Marathe’s ‘aggressive’ transfer pledge will be tarnished even more.
With the Whites needing at least six starters in their squad next season, forking out funds on Tsimikas doesn’t seem like the right move.
Even though it works for Arne Slot’s side with Liverpool signing Milos Kerkez, Farke and co should get out whilst they can.
