It’s no word of a lie that the Leeds United hierarchy has improved massively since Andrea Radrizzani left the club.
Radrizzani’s tenure is one he will be forgetting along with Leeds fans as nothing just seemed to go right for the Italian.
His history speaks for itself as Radrizzani has been known to make ‘absurd’ choices, and the Whites faithful found that out first hand.
When he arrived in 2017, there was hope that came with him, but his tenure ended with Radrizzani being ‘insulted’ by Leeds fans.
The difference in approach has been clear from the 49ers who have laid out promising plans, but the former owner actually gave a word of advice to current chief Paraag Marathe.
Andrea Radrizzani’s private chat with Paraag Marathe at Leeds United
Radrizzani knows of his mistakes at Leeds and seems regretful for the decisions he made.
One of those was Radrizzani signing Bundesliga players, as he offered advice to Daniel Farke not to follow the same suit.
The Leeds boss may not listen though as Farke sent Leeds scouts to Germany and fans might get deja vu next season in the Premier League if signings fail.
It will be a big test this summer but Radrizzani has offered some advice to Marathe which he seems to have already taken.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Italian set a goal for Leeds in what seemed like an ambition from himself which he couldn’t achieve.
“They’re a top club and I hope they get back to Europe one day,” Radrizzani said.
“I was actually wishing Paraag that this week, saying that now his goal should be to take back Leeds in Europe because that’s the possibility he has.”

Leeds are improving Marathe’s footballing mind
Marathe seems to have the right business mind to run a football club and isn’t afraid to make some big claims.
This was made clear when he seemingly listened to Radrizzani as Marathe said he wanted Leeds as Europe’s best, and this will be the 49ers’ goal at Leeds.
The main concern around Leeds was Marathe’s knowledge of the game being minimal, but it seems to have grown during his tenure.
With big changes going on this month, if the right strategy at Leeds is achieved this summer, Marathe will be lauded for the changes he’s made higher up.
The fact he’s willing to do this before a big season shows how he’s not afraid to stamp his foot down.
Time will tell if his knowledge has improved, but Marathe wants Leeds fighting for top eight in the Premier League, showing his ambition is exactly what the club needs.
