Leeds United will need a squad fit for the Premier League but Daniel Farke is willing to keep six players in the starting lineup.
As the season has come to its end, the time for Leeds’ squad to rest and recuperate is now.
After an incredible end-of-season title parade attended by over 150,000, the players can now prepare for the Premier League.
Farke will know what is at stake in terms of the Whites’ future, but also his own future, as the 49ers want Leeds consistently in the Premier League.
But the German might be about to make a decision which could prove risky, as he’s willing to keep six players who flourished in the Championship in his starting XI.
The six Leeds United players in Daniel Farke’s plans
The core of the squad that competed in the Championship proved that they are a level above the second tier.
Judging by this, it doesn’t come as a huge surprise that Farke is willing to continue on with many of the current squad in the big time.
However, Farke will be stepping into an element of risk by doing this, and many people won’t agree with his plans, as Sam Allardyce thinks Leeds need mass improvement.
Nevertheless, sources around the club have named the six players who will likely retain their place in Farke’s squad.
According to TEAMtalk, it’s understood that Farke and the hierarchy feel that the players in question are Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Ao Tanaka, Ethan Ampadu, Dan James, and Manor Solomon, suggesting a move will be a priority for the Tottenham loanee.

Four Leeds players only deserve starting XI place
It’s an extraordinary factor to consider having six of the Championship’s finest in the obstacle that is the Premier League.
The bottom three of this season tried and failed, and a lot of their assets from the season before did retain their place.
After the relegated sides spent over £100m, the Whites will no doubt have to do the same, but by signing Premier League targets for Leeds.
However, six of these probably don’t warrant a place, and Solomon shouldn’t be in the question just yet with his return to Spurs.
The four that should be nailed on are James, who needs no reasoning, followed by Tanaka and Bogle, who were both frontrunners for Leeds’ Signing Of The Season, and Rodon, who has been reliable as ever.
But Ampadu could be deemed unreliable through his injury concerns, but there is no doubt about his ability.
Farke should still look to target at least six new starters for Leeds, not only for competition, but to remain in the top flight.
